Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter Hosts Nittany Lions Recruiting Night

Penn State Nittany Lions Recruiting Night, an annual event hosted by the Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter, will be held on Friday, February 3 at 7 pm in the Penn State Worthington Scranton Study Learning Center's View Cafe, Dunmore.

Scranton Times-Tribune columnist and Penn State beat writer Donnie Collins will give his insights on the incoming class of Nittany Lion football players. A question and answer session will follow his presentation.

Each year, hundreds of Penn State football fans attend this event.

"It has been an exciting year for Penn State football with our Big Ten Championship and trip to the Rose Bowl," said Jeff Mallas, chapter president and PSWS' director of athletics.

“Penn State fans are already anticipating an outstanding 2017 season. This event will provide a great opportunity to get in-depth information and hear what is in store for the Nittany Nation next fall.”

The public is invited and general admission is $15.00 per person. The event is free for 2017 Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter members. Chapter memberships will be available at the door and refreshments will be sold.

Doors will open at 6 pm and there is no reserved seating. For more information about the event and other Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter activities, visit www.PSUscranton.org.
