Lynne Fazio named Worthington Scranton's Employee of the Month for December

DUNMORE, Pa. — Marwan Wafa, chancellor at Penn State Worthington Scranton, has named Lynne Fazio, an administrative support assistant who oversees the campus' word processing department, the Employee of the Month for December.

Marianne Gable, executive assistant to the chancellor, nominated Fazio for the honor, stating, "Lynne makes significant contributions to the campus through the quality of work she produces and is a dedicated team member. This is demonstrated in her willingness to help faculty, staff and students with special projects, as well as last minute requests. She recently completed a request for several hundred copies of a multi-page booklet in just a day-and-a-half.

"She also serves as the campus representative for the Faith and Values Committee."

The Employee of the Month recognition was created by Wafa as a way of distinguishing campus staff members who go "above and beyond the call of duty" in serving Penn State Worthington Scranton.

Congratulations, Lynne!
