On Monday August 8 from 9 am to 11 am, the Nursing 200W/Nursing Research class will present evidence-based practice posters in Business Building 118.
The event will simulate a standard research poster session at a formal research conference. Faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the display, walk around and converse with the students about the many research topics available.
Research topics being presented include autism, sedation protocols, breastfeeding, depression, pressure ulcers, addiction, vaccinations, Wilm’s tumor, anti-coagulation therapy following hip replacement surgery, nurse burnout and more.
These students and their faculty member worked hard over the summer on the research and any support will be greatly appreciated," said Dr. Michael Evans, assistant chief academic officer and nursing faculty member.
"These research posters help students develop skills in how to properly find reputable information in the medical field," he explained. "This class is one of the many classes offered within the four-year Bachelor's of Nursing program offered at Penn State Worthington Scranton."
