Resolving Interpersonal Conflict

You can learn to recognize the stages of conflict resolution and what causes interpersonal conflict. You will also analyze different approaches to resolving conflict, learning when each style is appropriate.

APICS-CPIM

People with the APICS-CPIM, (Certified Production and Inventory Management), credential are highly sought after professionals in the manufacturing and supply chain industries. The APICS CPIM program is undergoing its first major change in two decades. These are significant changes, since: 

   1. You will now need to take only two classes instead of five to earn your CPIM.
   2. You will now need to pass only two exams instead of five to earn your CPIM.
    3. You can become CPIM certified in under a year instead of more than 18 months.

The new modules will include the following topics:  Basics of Supply Chain, Master Planning of Resources, Execution and Control of Operations, Detailed Scheduling and Planning and Strategic Management of Resources. These closely resemble the previous modules but have been updated for 2017.

Pennsylvania's Real Estate Pre-licensing Education Courses:

Real Estate Fundamentals (3.0 CEU's)

This course provides the student with a basic foundation for additional study and to support the practice of real estate in Pennsylvania. The course is designed to acquaint the student with the language, principles and laws that govern the business of real estate. Emphasis is on the underlying concepts of land, property, rights in the realty and the means, methods and laws that govern the conveyance of these rights.

Real Estate Practice (3.0 CEU's)

This course provides the student with an introduction to all facets of the real estate business, including a survey of areas of specialization, with emphasis on the role of a real estate agent in residential brokerage. The course includes an examination of a real estate transaction, designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the forms and documents used along with related mathematics.

Human Resources and SHRM courses 

SHRM Learning System Course

SHRM has established the new certification standard for the HR profession.

Earning your SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP™) or SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP™) credential establishes you as a recognized expert in the HR field.

This course consists of 36 hours of classroom instruction, including a review prior to the new certification exam. In addition to the classroom experience, you will receive SHRM Learning System materials and access to online learning, legislative updates and practice tests.

SHRM Essentials of Human Resources

This program provides participants with knowledge and skills that can be used immediately. The course addresses six key human resource subjects in a user-friendly format designed to give an effective learning experience. Introduction to REVIT -

In this hands-on computer-aided drafting course participants will be introduced to Revit, which is used for the creation of commercial and residential structures. This course will include: drawing and editing tools; setting up levels; columns and column grids; drawing and modifying walls; adding doors and windows; creating floors; creating schedules; and adding detail views.

Introduction to Teaching English to English Language Learners

This 3-credit course focuses on the development of foundational knowledge for students to assist English language learners (ELLs) successfully in their classrooms. Students will be supported to develop essential dispositions, skills, and knowledge to fulfill this important role while exploring the issues of culture, language, learning contexts, and pedagogy.
