If students choose to mail a check, a payment stub may be printed and mailed with the payment to Penn State. The payment must be received on or before the due date on the student’s bill in order to avoid a late fee. Please mail any checks to the address found in the “Contact Information” box on the previous page.
Penn State also offers an Installment Payment Plan. This allows students to pay their outstanding balance over a three-month period. A $45 non-refundable fee is charged to cover all administrative costs for the payment plan and is due with the first payment.
The statement will list billable costs and the most current known financial aid. The first one-third of billable costs is payable by the due date of the tuition bill. Payments can be made by e-check or credit card and will be automatically deducted on the 22nd of each month.
To enroll in the Installment Payment Plan, please click on "Manage My Account/Make a Payment" in your Self Service Center. When you are in HigherOne, under "Installment Payment Plan", click on "Enroll in Penn State Installment Payment Plan".
Please Note: You can no longer sign up for the Installment Plan in the Bursar's office on campus. You can only enroll in the Installment Plan through Lionpath.
