New collaboration expands educational opportunities in Pennsylvania

Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses and the state’s community colleges have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities in Pennsylvania and removing barriers to degree completion among college students. The collaboration builds upon long-standing relationships between the campuses and the community colleges and a shared commitment to access and affordability in higher education.

Ready to dance and make a difference: Scranton campus trio takes on THON 2024

The Penn State Scranton community has learned which students will be representing the campus as its THON 2024 dancers during THON Weekend, set for Feb. 16-18 at University Park’s Bryce Jordan Center. Abigal Gaebel, Mahek Gandhi and Ashley Torres will join thousands of other Penn State students in the grueling, yet life-changing, 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund and children battling pediatric cancer.

Penn State Scranton students now have access to financial literacy resources

Students at Penn State Scranton now have a new resource to help them gain important financial literacy skills thanks to Penn State’s Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center. A financial resources information kiosk has been set up in the admissions office in Dawson 5 and is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
