The Media Commons is Penn State's initiative to provide a common set of tools, support, and opportunities to create digital media at all campus locations.
Worthington Scranton has additional on-site resources available to assist you with your projects.

Our new One Button Studio, which opened Fall 2016, is located in Dawson 117.

The Penn State One Button Studio is a simplified video recording setup that can be used without any previous video production experience.

The design of the studio allows you to create high-quality and polished video projects without having to know anything about lights and cameras.

You only need to bring your flash drive with you and push a single button.

Media Lab services:

For Faculty 

  • Help design and implement media projects in your classes
  • Provide equipment and support on media projects
  • Provide in class training for your students
  • Help put you in touch with outside resources if needed

For Students

  • Equipment loaning and training
  • Media workstation reservations and editing assistance
  • Storage space for projects using Media Commons
