I wanted to be academically challenged, as well as be allowed to excel athletically. Penn State Scranton was one of the best schools for me to have that opportunity.

How do I know if I’m a transfer student?

Transfer status is based on credits earned after high school graduation. To be considered a transfer student, you should have earned a high school diploma, or the equivalent, and have attempted 18 or more credits at another regionally accredited college or university.

If you’ve earned dual college credits during high school, you are not considered a transfer student, you are considered a first-year student, though the credit earned is still eligible for review.

How do I transfer?

Getting started on your new path probably comes with a lot of questions and concerns about what’s to come and what to expect during the transfer process.  While transferring schools is common, each situation is unique and should be carefully considered before taking the next step.

Will my credits transfer?

When you think about what you’ve already accomplished, you probably can’t help but wonder, “Will my credits transfer?”  Unfortunately, one size does not fit all and not all majors are eligible for transfer students. Each individual student and university have different factors that tend to influence whether a credit is likely to transfer. But you do not have to figure that out on your own.  We work hard to make the admission process as smooth and seamless as possible for transfer students
